Unfolding Fall
The fall season is now unfolding
See them fly hear the geese honking
Summer is gone the leaves fallen
No more sunburn no more pollen
Don't want to think too hard and make up a reason
To celebrate because this is the fall season
Winter's coming but not quite yet
Rain not snow but still cold and wet
The wind rustles the restless leaves
Like pirate bones when their grave heaves
When the wind picks up and my fingers are numbing
By the chill in the air I know winter's coming
