Once upon a time. There was a

Boy who desired a girl.

She did not notice him 'in that way' at first.

Eventually, he drew her heart and her eyes.

She was too shy to speak up. He was too

Stubborn to speak first, too hooked to walk away.

In time she made that step and he ran the rest of the way.

Once on the same page, the story was quickly written. 

Now they're a collaboration waiting for the patter of little sequels.
