Uninspired

Before you can have
Inspiration you must have
Some perspiration  

Prose or poetry 
Starts with ideas or feelings
And end with hard work

 Just write something down 
Sometimes it will start to flow 
Ditch don't dig itself

 Don't abuse your muse
Amuse yourself to get clues
Or just watch the news

    Sometimes I fear I am too busy digging ditches (metaphorically anyway--I work a lot, but I don't dig actual ditches) and my muse may run away with someone who actually pays him some attention.
