How poetry changed me
I never felt part of this world
A flag unfurled
A bell unrung
Poem unsung
Heart words written to lips from page
Stepped on the stage
Adorned with light
Need won the fight
In the shadows she waited there
My heart laid bare
She shared hers too
We found love true
I hate to quote The Beatles, but it is true, "All you need is love. Love is all you need." I'm glad you found each other.
