Father Time
(A minute poem)
A skinny kid became a dad
A happy lad
Who was his joy
His silly boy
We loved to find son father time
The hills we'd climb
And frisbees throw
Tell jokes we know
But father time he marches on
Young days are gone
As clocks unwind
So does dad's mind
Shift work will mess with your sleep schedule. I worked in the medical field for around 25 years, mostly on night shift. I don't have a functional circadian rhythm to speak of.
ReplyDeleteI love the line about clocks unwinding.
ReplyDeleteI love this! Don't like shift work!
