FALL INTO JOY

The prompt asked to write about joy or celebration 'dance among the clouds' and maybe try a pleiades poem( single word title. Each word of the seven line poem starts with the same letter as the title. I went one step further. I did an acrostic pleiades chain poem where each letter of the title is a one word which is then the title of a pleiades poem ie. Fall into grace has 9 letters = 9 pleiades poems. Since there was no opportunity  to do any poems about Autumn I took this opportunity.

Fall into school rhythms 

Fall into a pile of leaves

Forget summertime blues

Fill your jars with preserves 

Find scarf and your toque 

Fasten on winter tires

Feel the chill in the night

AUTUMN 

Afternoon's golden light 

After school homework time 

Apricots lie rotting

All new shows on the tube 

Astroturf glory dreams

Ash in the wind burnt grass

Agricultural fairs

LEAVES

Lends trees earthy palettes

Lemon drop orange peel and

Lava splash hazelnut 

Let go of green float free

Like prairie buffalo 

Leaves gallop by in herds

Letting the breeze drive them

LABOUR

Last party of summer

Leaves corralled into piles

Ladders against the eaves

ICY

Icy wind bites my neck

Inching frost paints windows 

Igloo lumps on the lawn
